Privacy policy
Cyperace Group ("we", "us") is a software and information-technology group incorporated in Uganda. This policy explains what we collect when you use cyperace.ug and how we treat it, in line with Uganda's Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019) and the EU GDPR where it applies.
Information we collect
- Form submissions: the name, work email, phone, and message you send us through the contact form, used only to respond to your enquiry.
- Analytics: aggregated, non-identifying usage data (pages visited, approximate region, device type) via our analytics provider, to understand how the site is used.
How we use your data
We use your details only to respond to enquiries and, with your consent, to send occasional updates. We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Who we share data with
We use a limited set of processors to run the site: our hosting provider (Cloudflare), an email delivery provider for form notifications, and our analytics provider. Each is bound to process data only on our instructions.
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept only for as long as needed to respond and follow up, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.
Cookies
We use a consent banner to manage analytics and marketing cookies. Necessary cookies are always on; you can change your preferences at any time from the banner or the cookie preferences control in the footer.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email us and we'll respond within the period required by law.
